Applications are now open to apply for a primary school place for September 2017 if you live in Hull.
You must apply for a primary school place using the online application form which is available from Monday 3rd October on the Hull City Council Citizen Portal. The Citizen Portal allows you to apply for a school place, transport and free school meals. The first time you use this service you must register your personal details and you will then be able to add the details of your children in the ‘Family’ tab. You can then select ‘School Places’ and follow the online instructions to make your preferences of school.
If you do not have access to the internet you can call into any library or customer contact centre. If you are still having difficulty, you can contact the admissions team to request a paper application form. You must apply before 16 January 2017.
Similarly, if you live outside Hull but want a place at a Hull school, you must apply using your home authority’s online system or form. This arrangement has been introduced nationally and all local authorities will ensure that applications for places at schools outside their areas are passed on to the appropriate authority.
The online application service is available from Monday 3 October 2016 to Monday 16 January 2017.
