Collective Worship

We place Christ at the centre of all we do and therefore we feel that Collective Worship is one way in developing a way for children to develop a relationship with Jesus and come to know him better.

We gather together as a whole school for collective worship to listen to scripture, spend time in prayer and reflect upon God’s Word. Collective worship happens in every class at least once a week. Pupils plan their own collective worship using our special collective worship planning resources, focusing upon: Gather, Word, Respond, Mission. Each day there is an opportunity for collective worship, as listed below.

Monday Whole School Collective Worship Led by members of the SLT 10am School Hall
Tuesday Class Worship Led by children in classrooms
Wednesday Whole School Hymn Practice Led by teachers 10am School Hall
Thursday Whole School Liturgy Led by Year 6 Liturgy Leaders 10am School Hall
Friday Whole School Celebration Assembly Led by Head of School 10am School Hall
